# Reports

> Pull data on demand, or have it land in your inbox automatically.

Reports come in two flavors: **exports** you generate yourself when you need them, and **scheduled reports** that show up automatically without anyone asking.

## On-demand exports

| Export                 | What's in it                                                                                                                        |

| **Device Export**      | Your device fleet — filterable by status, OS, department, location                                                                  |
| **Asset Export**       | Your physical assets — filterable by status, category, department, location                                                         |
| **Maintenance Export** | Every asset transition into Maintenance status, with vendor, cost, RMA number, and expected return — see [Assets](/features/assets) |
| **Software Export**    | Installed software across your fleet, filterable by device or a name search                                                         |

Generate one from **Reports**, choose `xlsx` or `csv`, apply filters if you want a narrower slice, and it appears in your reports list once it's ready — generation happens in the background, so you're not stuck waiting on a loading spinner for a large fleet.

## Scheduled reports

These generate themselves and land in your inbox — nothing to trigger.

The **Compliance Report** shows your fleet-wide compliance trend over the month, plus a breakdown of where you stand. The **Policy Violation Report** digs into what actually happened — how many violations opened, how many resolved, broken down by policy and by device. The **Daily Fleet Summary** is a quick email snapshot: devices online/offline, open violations, warranties coming due — designed to be read in under a minute.

All three are emailed to every **Owner and Admin** automatically — nobody needs to opt in.

## Where they go

Every report — on-demand or scheduled — also lands in your **Reports** list in-app, downloadable at any time, not just via email. On-demand exports stay available for 90 days; scheduled reports for a full year.
